The role

Lucis analyses more than 110 biomarkers, builds personalised clinical protocols, and delivers them through an AI-powered preventive health product.

As our Medical ops lead, you own how clinical work runs as we scale across Europe: workflows, labs and partners, turnaround, quality, review queues, and escalation. You ship with operators.

You work directly with the product lead, medical team, Medical Excellence, AI team, and operations team. You think like a clinician, operate like a builder, and use AI as a daily collaborator.

This is not a traditional care-delivery role. It is not a content or research role. You have already run medical ops (or equivalent: clinical quality, clinical programmes) in a scaled healthtech, diagnostics, pharma, or technology-enabled care environment — not only practiced at the bedside.

What you own

Clinical operations & labs

• Design, document, and improve clinical workflows end-to-end: from blood draw and lab intake to results, review, and member follow-up

• Own the relationship and operating rhythm with labs and partners: SLAs, turnaround times, incident handling, quality loops

• Make sure clinical standards hold as we add labs, markets, and volume

• Clear ownership across medical, product, AI, and operations

• Continuous improvement from operational feedback and member outcomes

Review queues & escalation

• Build and run review and escalation processes so complex or sensitive cases move fast and safely

• Reliable handoffs between reviewers, Medical Excellence, product, and ops

• Coverage, prioritisation, and turnaround for the medical review queue

Medical quality and governance

• Clinical review and sign-off processes (ops side: who reviews what, by when, with what audit trail)

• Quality-control systems, documentation standards, audit trails

• Escalation and medical risk-management processes

• Clinical performance indicators

Protocol & AI rollout (operational)

• Support rollout of new biomarkers, protocols, and AI features operationally — training, queues, partner readiness, go-live quality — without owning the clinical content itself
  

About you

You are a clinician — MD or nurse — who has practiced, and who has also run medical operations, not only delivered care. You want clinical expertise to scale through systems, labs, and operators — not only through a waiting room.

You create structure in ambiguous environments. You move between clinical reasoning, operations, and technology. You don’t only flag problems; you ship the fix with operators and own the workstream.

You’ll fit in well if

• You are an MD or a nurse (or equivalent clinical qualification) with relevant experience

• You have real clinical practice (not academic-only / desk-only)

• You have run medical ops, clinical quality, clinical programmes, or equivalent in a scaled healthtech, diagnostics, pharma, or technology-enabled care company

• You have gotten things delivered with operators: labs, partners, turnaround, quality

• You think in systems, workflows, and queues

• You work easily with product, engineering, AI, operations, and clinical experts

• You use AI daily

• You balance medical rigour with speed and pragmatism

• You take ownership beyond your job description

• You are fluent in French and English, spoken and written

We might not be a fit if

• You want to focus primarily on traditional bedside practice

• You have only practiced and have not owned operational delivery

• You prefer individual cases over scalable systems

• You are looking for a research or medical-writing role more than ops ownership

• You are uncomfortable with technology or AI as part of daily work

• You wait for instructions rather than owning a workstream

• You have little interest in labs, partners, processes, documentation, or quality systems

• You prioritise predictable nine-to-five work over mission intensity

Practical details

• Format: Full-time. Flexible for the right person.

• Location: Paris mostly

• Languages: French and English required. Additional language a plus.

• Relocation support possible. Europe-based candidates welcome if willing to travel regularly to Paris.
