Requirements

Bachelor's Degree
Ability to undergo a background investigation by the U.S. Government and meet eligibility requirements for suitability
At least 3 years of experience in developing Drupal themes and modules using HTML, Twig, CSS, SASS, and JavaScript for Drupal 8, 9, and/or 10
Proficiency in at least one JavaScript framework (React, Vue, or Angular)
Proficiency with Git and Git workflows
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Proficiency with component driven design methodologies
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience collaborating with UX/UI Designers, back-end developers, project managers, testers and other members of the team
Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

Develop Drupal themes and modules using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one JavaScript framework
Develop responsive and accessible websites that comply with industry and government accessibility, performance and cybersecurity, standards
Collaborate with back-end developers to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end code
Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation
Optimize front-end performance and user experience
Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies and best practices

Experience with the USWDS Framework
Experience with implementing design systems in Drupal
Expert level JavaScript skills
Accessibility certifications or training

Location

This role has the ability to work remotely with possible travel to the client site and Bixal events (less than 5% annually). You must be authorized to work in the United States. Bixal does not provide visa sponsorship.

Important note

This is a full-time proposal position contingent on contract award.
