Responsibilities
  • Manages the photonic integration team including project management, talent management, technical oversight, performance evaluations, and coaching
  • Responsible for the delivery of photonic integrated circuits for use in our quantum computing platforms
  • Interacts with device, hardware and software design teams to assist in the overall development of quantum photonic systems and devices
  • Works closely with the foundry team to develop the manufacturing capability necessary to deliver PICs meeting target system specifications
  • Leads the development of PIC design and layout infrastructure
  • Supports foundry tapeouts with photonic device design, design of experiments, layout, device validation, design verification, data analysis, failure mode analysis, and troubleshooting
  • Coordinates tapeout requirements and specifications across multiple teams such as test, packaging, electronics, and systems
  • Provides multi-disciplinary support to component and systems teams by resolving technical issues associated with components, parts, products, or systems
