  • An Undergraduate degree or diploma in Commerce, Fund Development or equivalent is preferred
  • A minimum of 4 years of sales, or fundraising experience
  • Proven success in recruitment and management of business leaders/executive volunteer leadership committees in the achievement of ambitious goals
  • Proven track record of success and expertise in peer-to-peer fundraising and fundraising event management
  • Major gift experience an asset
  • Superior interpersonal skills to engage, motivate and leverage stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Experience working independently and collaboratively in the development and execution of activities aligned with national and local strategies
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills; at ease with public presentations and a proven ability to relate to diverse groups of people at all levels

  • Engages Honoured Heroes and discusses how their involvement can help in their journey and to educate the public
  • Understands the community programs and services and directs inquiries to appropriate internal resources
  • Leads with mission offerings and connects constituents in need to internal resource specialists
  • Demonstrates and develops presentations to illustrate how campaign participants can further support the blood cancer community
  • Leads in the recruitment and year-round management of a Senior Volunteer Leadership Committee to achieve growth targets
  • Leads in the design and execution of revenue driving activities to build volunteer fundraising capacity and capabilities
  • Responsible for planning, goal setting and coaching top individuals and teams to achieve ambitious targets
  • Attracts new sponsors for fundraising campaigns to increase base of corporate support
  • Recruits, retains, manages and inspires top fundraisers and corporate partners
