France-based international risk management group Apave announced the launch of Apave Impact, a new sustainability-focused subsidiary, supported by the acquisition of Dutch decarbonization consulting firm De Duurzame Adviseurs (DDA). According to Apave, the new platform will consolidate the firm's sustainability expertise, providing services aimed at supporting the responsible transition of companies and organizations across France, Europe, and internationally. The new unit launches with more than 100 sustainability and ESG experts, and will provide services ranging from the measurement of emissions and conducting environmental assessments to managing decarbonization pathways, ensuring compliance with regulations such as CSRD, and structuring sustainability reporting systems. The launch of the new sustainability-focused unit follows the acquisition last year by Apave of French carbon accounting firm Aktio. The launch of Apave Impact consolidates this offering." Founded in 2011, Netherlands-based DDA provides services aimed at guiding organizations in their transition to sustainable, social, and well-governed business operations, including carbon footprint assessments, decarbonization roadmap development, ESG strategic consulting, and CSRD reporting and compliance. DDA Directors Merel van der Velde and Lars Dijkstra said: "Joining forces with Apave Impact gives us the scale, expertise and international platform to accelerate practical sustainability. Together, we see strong opportunities to combine our CO[2] and ESG expertise with Apave's broad capabilities, supporting organisations in the Netherlands and beyond in turning sustainability ambitions into real impact."
