Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or finance
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in an accounting role including inventory accounting
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP, general accounting processes, internal controls, and financial analysis tools
  • Proficient in Excel, including advanced formulas and pivot tables
  • Strong team player who thrives in a fast-paced, changing environment
Responsibilities
  • Prepare journal entries related to inventory and cost of revenue, including shipping accruals, tariffs, rebate accruals, and packaging expense to support the month-end close process
  • Assist with preparation of overhead allocations and product allocations
  • Support annual physical inventory count and reconciliation to general ledger (annual travel required)
  • Perform various inventory-related accounting tasks, such as reconciling inventory between systems and monitoring inventory cost/valuation
  • Support quarterly reviews and year-end audit by preparing schedules that support COGS and inventory-related trends and balances
  • Prepare monthly variance analysis for inventory and cost of revenue accounts, including research of drivers of variances
  • Assist with other general accounting tasks and cross-functional projects to broaden your expertise and support team goals
  • Prepare/assist with any other ad hoc analysis or analytics as needed

  • Experience with top tier ERP and related reporting applications
