  • Experience in guidance, navigation, and control algorithm design and validation
  • Experience with GPS and inertial sensors
  • Current Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Applied Sciences or demonstrated comparable experience with ten (10) or more years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of system engineering principles, theories, and concepts and ability to contribute to the development of new and innovative concepts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess strong analytical skills
  • Proficient in MS Office products
Responsibilities
  • Develop and validate vehicle and environment models to simulate Navigation/GPS algorithm performance and robustness
  • Evaluate technical documents, determine sufficiency for demonstrating compliance with specification and airworthiness, summarize findings, recommend changes, and communicate all results to the program office.
  • Represent complex data in diagrams or through other techniques that communicate precise information to both business and technical staff.
  • Analyze inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment.
  • Formulate mathematical models or other methods of computer analysis to develop, evaluate, or modify design according to customer engineering requirements.
  • Perform risk assessments and generate risk mitigation plans and strategies using DoD Risk Management methodology and procedures.
  • Understand and work well within Integrated Product Team (IPT) organizational structures to deliver timely results.
