Requirements
  • Paralegal or bachelor’s degree required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong technical skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, with particular emphasis on PowerPoint and data visualizations.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate with individuals from different locations and cultures around the world.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
  • Support in conducting and overseeing key data privacy processes including privacy impact assessments, cross-border data transfers, and other initiatives ensuring compliance with applicable laws for the collection, use and protection of data.
  • Establish and maintain privacy metrics to assess and report on the effectiveness of privacy and cybersecurity controls.
  • Support the legal team in drafting, negotiation, and execution of data privacy agreements and manage timelines with internal teams.
  • Coordinate with internal legal teams around the world in support of executing and documenting compliance measures with company data privacy programs.
  • Support in legal reviews of cybersecurity incidents.
  • Use of data analytics to identify privacy trends and risks.
  • Work cross functionally with functions outside of the Legal Department.
  • Develop and refresh policies and training to support privacy governance initiatives.
  • Take on special projects as needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working on data privacy matters in an in-house or law firm position is preferred.
  • Familiarity with data protection regulations is preferred.
  • Experience working with regulatory agencies a plus, but not required.
  • Project management expertise a plus.
