Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience are required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Successful completion of background checks is required.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with investigators, physicians, and graduate or medical students to design and implement statistical analysis plans for clinical and health science research.
  • Consult and advise researchers on study design, statistical analysis strategies, reliability, data collection procedures, statistical power and sample size, and randomization schemes.
  • Interpret experimental results and integrate complex statistical methodologies and advanced models into research protocols.
  • Analyze data using statistical or mathematical software.
  • Maintain knowledge of statistical software packages and develop, test, debug, implement, modify, and evaluate statistical or mathematical software programs supporting research projects.
  • Write specifications for files, validation checks, tables, and calculations used to collect and analyze data from varied sources.
  • Prepare visual representations and displays of statistical results for reports, presentations, scholarly publications, and grant applications.
  • Create programming specifications for analysis datasets, tables, listings, and figures.
  • Author statistical portions of abstracts, manuscripts, and final reports.
  • Recommend approaches based on new developments in statistical and mathematical methods and software.
  • Provide statistical consultation to physicians and graduate or medical students and guide medical students in the statistical aspects of Medical Student Research projects.
