The Human Resources (HR) team is responsible for managing the entire employee lifecycle from recruitment through retirement, collaborating closely with various departments such as New Site Development, Construction, Operations, Sales, Finance, Tech & Systems, and Legal to ensure a cohesive and supportive work environment. Our HR team is distinguished by its proactive and strategic approach. Unlike in many organizations where HR functions are limited to administrative oversight, our HR professionals are empowered with the authority and responsibility to drive critical processes directly. This includes talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and organizational planning. By leveraging in-house expertise, our HR team can align long-term organizational sustainability with innovative HR practices and cost-effective strategies. This alignment ensures that our workforce is engaged, motivated, and equipped to contribute to the company’s success. Each member of our HR team plays a pivotal role in making high-impact decisions, resulting in a more dynamic and productive work environment.
This role can be based in any of our US locations: Denver, CO; Phoenix, AZ; Quincy, WA; Santa Clara, CA; Ashburn, VA; Atlanta, GA; or remotely.

As the Senior Analyst, Compensation you will play a critical role in supporting Vantage’s comprehensive compensation strategy across the North America region. Reporting to the Senior Director, Global Compensation, you will be responsible for supporting strategic objectives including attracting, retaining, and motivating a diverse workforce through compensation strategy and practices.
Market Analysis & Benchmarking:
Submit salary survey data and conduct regular market analysis and benchmarking to ensure our compensation practices remain competitive and aligned with industry trends across North America.
Seek out and evaluate external compensation data providers with an emphasis on robust data available in our North America markets (United States and Canada).
Compensation Strategy & Program Management:
Research compensation structures, pay ranges, and incentive programs to ensure Vantage’s compensation strategy drives performance, recognizes top talent, and promotes equity.
Partner with Human Resources leaders and HRIS teams to support the annual compensation review cycle in Workday (annual merit and bonus awards).
Offer Support & Data Analysis:
Working with the Talent Acquisition team, use benchmarking tools and internal parity data to propose and evaluate job offers for candidates.
Ensure compensation programs comply with all regional regulations, labor laws, and internal policies across multiple jurisdictions.
Assist in the preparation of executive-level reporting of key compensation metrics and trends.
Training & Communication:
Provide materials to support employee and manager training on compensation philosophy and practices, fostering the pay-for-performance culture at Vantage.
Handle additional duties as assigned by Management.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
5+ years of experience in compensation, human resources, finance, or data analytics.
Experience with Workday HCM. Experience with the Advanced Compensation module preferred.
Data center experience is preferred, but not required.
Experience supporting a global organization is preferred, but not required.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
English language proficiency is required, including the ability to speak, read, and write at a strategic level, due to the necessity of collaborating with a global team.
French language proficiency is preferred, but not required
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including above-average Excel skills (PivotTables, lookup functions, financial modeling, scenario analysis, etc.)
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Solid attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-solving attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.

Travel required is expected to be up to 10% but may increase over time as the business evolves.

Salary Range: $85,000-$95,000 Base + Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations)
