Requirements
  • BS in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of increasing responsibility at a manufacturing plant or product development, preferred 5 years
  • Experience in prototype builds or product launch
  • Proficient with 3D CAD CATIA software
  • Knowledge of high-speed rotating equipment, specifically electric motors desired
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership skills
  • Strong emotional resilience and have a "can-do" approach to problem solving
  • Must be a highly motivated self-starter who is able to achieve results with minimal supervision and direction
Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot issues with Testing that occurs during manufacturing and issues on Motor production lines along with the manufacturing team
  • Responsible to resolve product design related issues by working with DREs
  • Represent EPC Product Engineering in decision making on part deviation and non-conformance issues
  • Provide daily build status and captured issues from the production line
  • Participate in Problem Issue and Resolution Meetings
  • Work with engineering quality team to implement quality assurance check points for prototype and production builds
  • Spend time in Carson, California with EPC Product Engineering to gain knowledge about the product before residing at the Normal, Illinois manufacturing plant
