Resident Engineer II

- BS in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of increasing responsibility at a manufacturing plant or product development, preferred 5 years
- Experience in prototype builds or product launch
- Proficient with 3D CAD CATIA software
- Knowledge of high-speed rotating equipment, specifically electric motors desired
- Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership skills
- Strong emotional resilience and have a "can-do" approach to problem solving
- Must be a highly motivated self-starter who is able to achieve results with minimal supervision and direction
- Troubleshoot issues with Testing that occurs during manufacturing and issues on Motor production lines along with the manufacturing team
- Responsible to resolve product design related issues by working with DREs
- Represent EPC Product Engineering in decision making on part deviation and non-conformance issues
- Provide daily build status and captured issues from the production line
- Participate in Problem Issue and Resolution Meetings
- Work with engineering quality team to implement quality assurance check points for prototype and production builds
- Spend time in Carson, California with EPC Product Engineering to gain knowledge about the product before residing at the Normal, Illinois manufacturing plant
