Requirements
  • Experience in the metal distribution industry or with enterprise resource planning metal software is highly desired.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Experience with outbound sales activity is required.
  • Experience driving the sales process from lead generation through scheduling demonstrations is required.
  • Strong presentation skills are required.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills are required.
  • An exceptional telephone manner is required.
  • The ability to travel is required.
Responsibilities
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling.
  • Contact clients via video chat, phone, email, social media, or physical visits, and coordinate sales efforts with sales management.
  • Engage potential customers professionally regarding all aspects of the Steel Manager III enterprise resource planning software application.
  • Build rapport with 4GL staff, existing customers, and potential customers.
  • Prospect for potential customers in North America through cold calling and relationship building, including in the face of resistance.
  • Work effectively and independently while remote.
  • Clearly and concisely discuss all aspects of the enterprise resource planning application in written and verbal communications.
  • Consistently attain budgeted sales and performance goals.
  • Stay up to date on all products and services offered.

  • Experience in the metal distribution industry or with enterprise resource planning metal software is highly desired.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning or material requirements planning applications is a plus.
