San Francisco-based AI agent startup Ema, founded by ex-Google and Okta employees, raised an additional $36M in a Series A round, bringing its total funding to $61M. Led by Accel and Section 32, the funds will enhance Ema's no-code AI agents, termed "universal AI employees," which automate tasks across various enterprise functions. Ema, which emerged from stealth recently, is gaining traction in fintech, legal, healthcare, and e-commerce sectors.
