Requirements
  • 4+ years experience in Onboarding/Credit, Risk, or Compliance spaces
  • 2+ years experience working in Merchant Acquiring, E-Commerce, or a similar role at a FinTech
  • Experience in remote team management
  • Excellent communication skills, and are a fluent English speaker/writer
  • Experience and understanding of scheme requirements (desired, but not required)
Responsibilities
  • Line manage the Onboarding Risk, Risk Monitoring, and Compliance Risk Teams
  • Provide expertise regarding onboarding/screening/monitoring processes
  • Help to manage key internal relationships
  • Help to support the development of processes and procedures
  • Help to document processes and procedures internally, and externally as necessary
  • Handle complex escalations
  • Be confident in making judgement calls (at times based on limited information)
  • Communicate in a clear and concise manner
  • Provide expertise in Card Scheme rules and global legislation around payments
  • Create and deploy new hire training programs as well as other training opportunities
  • Help to develop the Risk teams and Paddle through sharing knowledge, experiences, and discussing best practices
