Requirements
  • Five to seven years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure modernization, or cloud migration projects across enterprise environments.
  • Strong expertise in Azure cloud services, including compute, networking, storage, identity through Entra ID, monitoring, and security.
  • Proven experience leading and executing end-to-end cloud migration activities, including discovery, assessment, planning, execution, cutover, and post-migration validation.
  • Strong expertise building and validating Azure Landing Zones aligned with enterprise architecture, governance, and security frameworks.
  • Practical experience with re-host, re-platform, and re-architect migration methodologies using Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery, Database Migration Service, or equivalent tools.
  • Hands-on experience managing migration playbooks and pipelines in Azure DevOps, including lifecycle updates, automation, and continuous integration and continuous delivery practices.
  • Hands-on experience designing and maintaining Azure DevOps continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments, including YAML pipelines and gated validations.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex build, release, and pipeline issues, including agent configuration, environment variables, and integration failures.
  • Strong skills in Terraform, including writing reusable modules, managing state, versioning, lifecycle upgrades, and implementing infrastructure patterns.
  • Experience managing Git repositories, branching strategies such as GitFlow and trunk-based development, pull requests, and repository metadata.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell and/or Shell scripting to automate operational tasks, create tooling, and support continuous integration and continuous delivery workflows.
  • Strong understanding of compliance, security, and governance frameworks for cloud workloads, including policies, role-based access control, tagging standards, cost management, and Azure Security Center.
  • Educational qualification of BE, BTech, BCA, BSc in Information Technology, MCA, MBA in Information Technology, or MSc in Information Technology.
  • Five to seven years of work experience in Azure migration and DevOps skills.
Responsibilities
  • Independently drive end-to-end cloud migration, infrastructure engineering, and DevOps automation initiatives.
  • Lead design discussions, manage complex Azure environments, coordinate with multiple teams, and ensure successful delivery of secure, scalable, and compliant Azure platforms.
  • Work hands-on with Azure compute, storage, networking, virtual machines, virtual machine scale sets, load balancers, network security groups, firewalls, route tables, and private DNS.
  • Build out, configure, and validate Azure Landing Zones.
  • Deploy and integrate applications with Azure SDK services such as Key Vault, Storage, and Service Bus.
  • Migrate workloads from on-premises environments or Amazon Web Services to Azure.
  • Perform Azure Migrate discovery, dependency assessment, replication, and cutover activities.
  • Onboard, configure, and use cloud migration tools, frameworks, and migration playbooks.
  • Lead end-to-end migration phases independently.
  • Create, optimize, and manage Docker images and registries.
  • Deploy, scale, and manage containerized applications with Kubernetes, preferably Azure Kubernetes Service.
  • Manage Kubernetes pods, deployments, services, ingress, ConfigMaps, secrets, and autoscaling.
  • Write and maintain Kubernetes YAML manifests, Helm charts, and continuous integration and continuous delivery deployment pipelines for Azure Kubernetes Service.
  • Use Azure DevOps for backlog management, repository governance, and end-to-end pipeline implementation.
  • Design and manage continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
  • Develop reusable Terraform, Bicep, and Azure Resource Manager template modules and standardize environments.
  • Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, Shell/Bash, and Azure Policy.
  • Implement secure pipelines, secrets management, and compliance controls.
  • Work with Azure API Management, Azure Data Factory, and Azure SQL Managed Instance.
  • Integrate Azure Kubernetes Service with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Key Vault, Azure Container Registry, and other Azure services.
  • Manage the artificial intelligence agent lifecycle.
  • Integrate an artificial intelligence gateway for multi-agent access and routing.
  • Design effective human–artificial intelligence interaction workflows.
Desired Qualifications
  • Kubernetes certifications are nice to have.
  • Automation using agentic artificial-intelligence frameworks is preferred.
  • Experience designing and managing continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines using GitLab CI/CD or GitHub Actions is an alternative to the preferred Azure DevOps option.
