Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of floor care experience.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- The ability to work independently or lead a small team.
- The ability to train staff on proper floor cleaning techniques.
- Successful completion of a drug screen, background check, and E-Verify.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- The ability to climb ladders, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- The ability to lift and push up to 60 pounds.
- The ability to carry 10–15 pounds on the back for at least one hour.
- The ability to perform repetitive push/pull cleaning motions.
- The ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Availability to work indoors and outdoors with exposure to heat, cold, rain, and humidity.
- The ability to work with cleaning chemicals and power floor equipment.
- Availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays depending on client needs.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and perform floor care duties, including carpet cleaning, stripping and waxing, buffing, grout cleaning, burnishing, cleaning different substrates, and window cleaning.
- Support management with day-to-day operations to ensure timely, high-quality service.
- Maintain and perform preventive care on floor equipment in the warehouse and promptly report worn or broken equipment.
- Keep equipment clean and in safe working condition.
- Secure buildings and company assets upon completing work.
- Provide training and leadership to other staff when needed.
- Schedule recurring jobs and create schedules for floor technicians.
- Train floor technicians when needed.
- Travel between job sites as required.
