The Impact You’ll Make
As a Benefits Manager, you will partner closely with internal cross functional partners as well as our benefit brokers. You will develop, implement and manage global benefits programs, including health, retirement, leaves and perks, while ensuring a great employee experience. The right candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high growth culture that values strategic communication, teamwork, and results. Success in the role will require a self-starter with a passion for benefits and creating a world class employee experience. Our benefit programs play an important role in employee satisfaction and retention, so your role will be extremely important to us.
You should be excited to bring your experience and expertise every day in order to:
- Own the overall design, implementation, communication, and administration of the company’s global health, wellness, and financial benefit programs that best meet the needs of the organization
- Manage open enrollment, renewal, and delivery of global benefits in partnership with our benefits brokers and vendors
- Partner with our third-party leave administrator to ensure accurate delivery of the company leaves program
- Understand and manage the end-to-end data flow between our various systems and the business requirements of each
- Partner with internal teams to ensure ongoing alignment on policies, contracts, vendor management and cost
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements
- Resolve employee questions and problems by interpreting benefit policies and procedures
- Build fair and equitable benefits programs that deliver a great employee experience through innovative solutions, communications, and education
What You’ll Bring To The Team
- At least 3 years of benefits experience
- Strategic and empathetic thinking skills
- Experience working with remote employee populations
- Strong project management and analytical skills
- Ability to develop strong collaborative relationships
Rewards
Compensation, benefits, perks, and recognition programs at Nextdoor come together to create one overall rewards package.
The starting salary for this role is expected to range from $131,000 to $164,000on an annualized basis, or potentially greater in the event that your ’level’ of proficiency exceeds the level expected for the role. Compensation may also vary by geography.
We also expect to award a meaningful equity grant for this role. With equal quarterly vesting, your first vest date would be within the first 3 months of your start date.
Overall, total compensation will vary depending on your relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
