Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, with degree preferred in Computer Science or Information technology systems security or related field
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of hands-on experience with EcoSys administration, configuration and enhancement
  • Software development experience required
  • Understanding of software and hardware system architecture
  • Experience in REST APIs, web services and integration tools
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Proficiency in SQL, JavaScript, VBA and data visualization/reporting platforms
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, with an ability to communicate complex issues to a non-technical audience
Responsibilities
  • Administer and configure modules, settings and workflows for EcoSys in production and non-production environments based on operational needs
  • Provision users following the principle of least privileged access. Must be able to support complex permissions and data visibility based around contracts, scopes of work and WBS and funding relationships
  • Translate business needs into actionable functional and technical requirements
  • Monitor EcoSys system performance and work with vendor to resolve any problems with performance
  • Coordinate upgrades working with vendor, following IT change management processes
  • Create and support existing custom reports, dashboard and data visualizations tailored to business use cases, including using excel Cost and CapEx template reporting with VBA code for formatting and report generation
  • Develop and maintain EcoSys API integrations with ERP platforms
  • Support customized configuration within the ECOSYS contract module
  • Perform complex data analysis to support project cost control team
  • Create and maintain master data including but not limited to WBS structures, contract lines, and security groups for scopes of work
  • Triage and resolve incidents, performing root cause analysis for problems when appropriate
  • Analyze and organize incoming work, providing level of effort and work breakdown for enhancement requests
  • Provide technical troubleshooting, end user support and ongoing platform education.
  • Perform work in accordance with VGLNG policies, procedures, and strategic direction, as well as regulatory standards governing VGLNG.
  • Responsible for other applications as assigned by Manager such as O3.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in working in a LNG/energy sector environment
  • Experience with ERP systems integration projects in large scale capital projects
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Venture Global LNG experience or familiarity with company policies and procedures
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Experience with scripting languages beyond VBA (Python, PowerShell)
  • Security clearance or background check would be a plus
  • Certified EcoSys Professional (or equivalent)
