Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Engineering, or related program.
  • Basic understanding of DevOps concepts and practices.
  • Familiar or working knowledge of development tools like Git, Jira, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in the automation of deployment processes using tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps.
  • Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure).
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system performance, security, and availability.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of documentation for processes and procedures.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the DevOps team.
  • The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
