SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Is a senior level or lead position within the Business Analyst structure. This position leverages the return on enterprise level systems by providing technical support to analyze business processes and technology requirements.

The HRIS Analyst II position at the City of Tucson’s Human Resources Department leads the HRIS/Records division, ensuring the HRIS system’s integrity through support in analysis, testing, reporting, and configuration.
Work is performed under the supervision of HRIS Manager. This position leads and instructs the daily operational work of HRIS/Records personnel.
Duties and Responsibilities
Configures, tests, and implements new Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) modules and configuration projects such as Human Capital Management (HCM), Payroll, Absence, Recruitment, Performance, and Learning.
Translates objectives and user needs into technical requirements for HRIS configuration.
Analyzes current systems function; identifies opportunities for improvement, customization, or training to maximize value and efficiency; advises on systems capabilities in discussion with IT, departmental leadership, and other stakeholders.
Collaborates with other HRIS staff, City-wide working groups, and consultants to research, plan, and modify configuration options within the HRIS; thoroughly tests new features and proposed changes prior to implementation; maintains documentation of system updates.
Assists in monitoring systems integrations to ensure successful transfer of employee data between HCM and timekeeping and performs regular ad-hoc system auditing; keeps regular communication with departmental HR teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of employee data.
Writes custom report definitions; runs standard and custom reporting; transforms report data for application in various projects and presentations.
Performs research for solutions to current and future system issues; engages with a community of HRIS users to establish network of resources and referrals.
Serves as Lead and provides training and guidance to other positions performing similar tasks; reviews workload; assigns work and develops training materials/standard operating procedures. Conducts presentations in classroom or individualized settings.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Full Hourly Range: $32.15 - 55.46 USD

2) Describe your experience with producing executive reporting and dashboarding, including reporting tools and software used to create those reports? What steps do you take to ensure data accuracy?
