Essential Duties:

50% Develop and maintain MRI reconstruction and image processing software and environment for breast and body MRI group. Incorporate novel reconstruction and image processing methods into the environment on an ongoing basis as determined by group projects and priorities. Provide MRI reconstruction expertise to group project development and collaborations. Specific areas of MRI development include non-contrast-enhanced methods, oncologic screening, and mid-field body MRI with technical focus on high-resolution, non-Cartesian trajectories, motion compensation, and integration of methods with novel receive coils and machine learning. Development of reconstruction environment includes incorporation of novel methods into existing reconstruction pipelines for clinical translation and method assessment.

30% Management of data archiving and collection including development of image and data anonymization scripts and data management plans for funding proposals, regulatory documentation and multisite collaborations.

20% Mentorship and training of junior colleagues. Assist with data collection and analysis for conference abstracts and manuscripts of PI and other group members. Contribution to group grant proposal preparation including acquisition and presentation of preliminary data and literature searches.

Position requirements: MS in Electrical/Biomedical Engineering or related field. Strong record of MRI reconstruction method development. Proficient in C++, Python and Matlab. Experience working in a clinical translational environment and with breast and body MRI applications preferred.
