Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field from a recognized college or university
  • 6 years Human Resources experience with emphasis on Labor Relations
  • In-depth knowledge of Labor Relations and working knowledge of contractual obligations and implementation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and writing skills and demonstrated aptitude for labor related problem solving and policy setting
Responsibilities
  • Administer the collective bargaining agreement and ensure consistency in application and interpretation
  • Advise and counsel management regarding contractual obligations and agreements
  • Provide consultation on grievances and serve as Step 3 grievance officer
  • Initiate and maintain satisfactory relations between union leaders and management
  • Support contract negotiations and in-house labor relations training
  • Manage grievance procedures and facilitate labor management committees
  • Administer daily labor/management relations
Desired Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree from a recognized college or university
  • Project Management experience
