Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree.
  • Three years of professional administrative and operational experience.

Responsibilities
  • Provide senior-level administrative support to the Athletic Director, including calendar and travel management, coordinating department administrative operations, and supporting departmental initiatives.
  • Administer approved corporate sponsorship agreements and maintain sponsorship records.
  • Coordinate A-Club communications.
  • Oversee administrative compliance of athletics camps, including youth protection, compliance with University policies and procedures, accurate and equitable camp payroll, and compliance records and documentation.
  • Assist with planning and executing home athletic events.
  • Serve as the primary manager of Athletics concessions and oversee its operations, including determining staffing levels, assigning personnel, coordinating vendors, evaluating service and financial performance, and implementing operational improvements within approved budgets and University policies.
  • Review and approve assigned purchasing-card transactions and timecard submissions within delegated authority.
  • Monitor purchasing-card activity and payroll submissions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Coordinate with the Business Office and Human Resources to resolve administrative and financial issues.
  • Work a variable schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends, in support of athletic games, camps, and departmental events.
  • Occasionally lift up to 45 pounds and move throughout athletic facilities during events.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in collegiate athletics and/or a higher education environment.
  • Experience supervising employees or student staff.
  • Experience with financial, payroll, and/or compliance processes.
