Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, communications design, or related field.
  • Mid-level (ideally 4+ years) experience in instructional design, learning and development, communication design, multimedia, or training video production.
  • Proficient knowledge of Articulate Storyline, Adobe products, Microsoft products, Storyblocks, iStock, or other production training-related tools.
  • Solid knowledge of adult learning theory.
  • Demonstrates organization, presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to develop, process, format, and communicate technical and analytical information visually, auditorily, and with accessibility in mind.
Responsibilities
  • Build interactive online training courses, micro content trainings, videos, illustrations, promotional videos, and other multimedia to engage learners about safety, health, environmental, and compliance topics.
  • Collaborate well, be able to take direction, and care about quality and accuracy.
  • Work with the Training and Content team to help refine instructional design and development processes.
  • Assist with training and multimedia production tasks.
  • Participate in quality assurance (QA), when needed.
  • Deliver trainings into platform(s), when needed.
  • Stay up to date on industry standards, software updates, and upcoming trends.
  • Provide assistance for script and training logging, folding sharing, processes, SOPs, frameworks, and other team documentation, when needed.
  • Provide technical support and expertise for client tickets and recommend solutions.
  • Raise critical issues and risks that may impact project timelines or other factors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Additional certifications in instructional design, communications design, or related a plus.
  • Creativity and flair for design, art, and technology.
  • Ability to contribute to storyboard and write scripts for training courses, including instructional videos and animations.
  • Stays up-to-date with instructional design trends and production best practices and is willing to try new ideas to design and produce better content.
  • Enjoys a work environment that requires flexibility, self-direction, creativity, teamwork, proficient time management, and organizational skills.
  • Is comfortable leading team meetings, when necessary, and give input and ideas to the team.
