Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience and/or training.
  • Aerospace background and aircraft interior industry experience.
  • Ability to meet strict schedule, budget, and customer Statement of Work requirements.
  • Familiarity with technical and contract requirements management processes.
  • Broad technical and certification knowledge.
  • Experience with accounting, database, and project management software.
  • Experience using an Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
  • Effective use of risk and opportunity management processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Ability to work outside core business hours as required.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the customer's direct point of contact for technical and prototype contracts.
  • Understand the Statement of Work and contract for assigned projects and ensure compliance by the company and client.
  • Ensure assigned small- to mid-scale projects progress on schedule, within budget, and meet or exceed quality standards, including post-delivery support when applicable.
  • Communicate concise and comprehensive program statuses and priorities to the program team, using the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) for status updates and performance analysis and creating action recommendations.
  • Organize and facilitate contractual coordination and milestone meetings.
  • Manage the financial performance of assigned work packages and control accounts.
  • Participate in and guide the Change Order process within approved thresholds for assigned projects.
  • Keep the client and executive management informed of significant project status through program reviews, status reports, and meetings.
  • Facilitate interdepartmental and intradepartmental coordination to support project requirements.
  • Provide planning and leadership to minimize problems or conflicts and develop team-based solutions.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure companies, vendors, and individuals support project requirements.
  • Oversee Modification Center activity and schedules.
  • Negotiate revised delivery dates, costs, or other proposal and contract parameters when applicable.
  • Facilitate positive customer relationships.
