Requirements
  • Clinical Expertise: MD, RN, or another relevant clinical credential. You understand patient care and the nuances of CDI.
  • Deep familiarity with ICD-10, HCC coding, Medicare guidelines, and payer documentation requirements.
  • Proven ability to engage with prospects and clients, translating clinical concepts into business impact.
  • You can distill complex CDI topics into clear, compelling messaging for both clinical and non-clinical audiences.
  • You’re excited about the role AI can play in transforming CDI and revenue cycle management.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with Growth to articulate the value of CDI solutions during client presentations, demos, and RFPs.
  • Help hospitals and health systems understand how AI-powered CDI can improve documentation, boost revenue, and drive quality care.
  • Work closely with Customer Success to refine documentation workflows and help clients maximize their CDI programs.
  • Help design, implement, and refine comprehensive educational materials, guidelines, and curricula for CDI specialists, ensuring they can accurately review AI-driven query recommendations and maintain compliance standards.
  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to provide feedback on product enhancements, user experience improvements, and educational tools that support optimal query review and compliance workflows.
  • Communicate directly with client CDI leaders to establish trust, address concerns, and demonstrate advanced knowledge of inpatient clinical documentation best practices.
Desired Qualifications
  • CDI Experience: 5+ years in clinical documentation improvement leadership, hospital CDI, HIM, and/or RCM programs.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret healthcare data and trends.
