Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Four to nine years of project controls experience supporting engineering, energy, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in project scheduling, cost control, forecasting, progress measurement, and project performance reporting.
  • Understanding of project lifecycle phases and project management principles.
  • Ability to interpret project data and communicate performance trends and recommendations effectively.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard project controls, scheduling, reporting, and office software.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and update project schedules in collaboration with project managers and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Monitor project progress against established schedules and identify potential risks, delays, and schedule impacts.
  • Support schedule development for all phases of project execution, including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
  • Participate in schedule reviews and recommend corrective actions to improve project performance.
  • Monitor project costs, budgets, commitments, and expenditures throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare cost forecasts, cash flow projections, and earned value assessments to support project decision-making.
  • Analyze cost variances and trends and provide recommendations to mitigate potential budget impacts.
  • Support change management processes by evaluating the cost and schedule implications of project changes.
  • Prepare regular project controls reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators for internal and client reporting.
  • Track project progress and performance against scope, schedule, cost, and resource objectives.
  • Identify project risks, trends, and opportunities through data analysis and performance metrics.
  • Support project reviews by providing accurate and timely project controls information.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, procurement, construction personnel, and clients to support project execution.
  • Participate in project planning meetings, risk reviews, and progress meetings.
  • Maintain project controls documentation in accordance with company procedures and client requirements.
  • Assist with project setup, baseline development, and close-out activities.
  • Perform project controls activities in accordance with company standards, quality management systems, and project procedures.
  • Promote consistency in project controls processes, reporting, and documentation across projects.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance project controls tools, processes, and reporting practices.
