As a founding member of the Enterprise Account Management team at Vanta, you will have a unique opportunity to work side-by-side with our leadership, product and engineering team as we work towards building our Enterprise GTM motion. As an Enterprise Account Manager at Vanta, you will be responsible for nurturing and expanding relationships with our largest customers. Your role will involve understanding their unique needs, ensuring their success with our platform, and identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
What you’ll do as a Account Manager, Enterprise at Vanta:
Serve as the primary point of contact for existing Enterprise customers, fostering strong, long-term relationships across customer stakeholders at all levels.
Collaborate on account plans that identify and pursue opportunities to expand Vanta’s footprint within existing accounts, including upselling and cross-selling additional services.
Manage contract renewals and work proactively to ensure high customer retention rates.
Build and manage a pipeline of renewal and expansion opportunities and accurately forecast performance against sales targets.
Partner closely with various resources throughout the sales process, including legal, product, engineering, solution engineers, and GRC specialists.
Maintain strong partnerships and alignment with CSMs to understand customer health, ensure close strategic collaboration and execute coordinated communication with your accounts.
Understand customer business objectives and clearly articulate the value Vanta provides towards those objectives.
Gather and relay customer feedback to internal teams to drive improvements that best meet client needs.
How to be successful in this role:
7+ years in account management, full cycle sales, or related roles, preferably within the SaaS or compliance sectors.
Proven track record of managing and growing relationships with enterprise-level clients including exceeding retention and expansion goals.
Experience in managing complex customers, particularly those with over 5,000 full-time employees.
Keen ability to prioritize your efforts towards the highest impact work for both your customers’ and Vanta’s business objectives.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for presenting complex information clearly.
A commanding executive presence, with the ability to establish and manage C-level relationships.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to address client challenges effectively, including engaging and organizing applicable internal resources.
Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product, and support teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Technical proficiency to understand Vanta’s software and establish rapport with highly technical customer contacts.
You are curious and resourceful, and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges for all US-based job postings regardless of state. We set standard base pay ranges for all roles based on function, level, and country location, benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate location, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below. The OTE range for this position is $200,000 - $275,000. This role may also be eligible for commissions/bonus, equity, medical benefits, 401(k) plan, and other company perk programs.
