Title: "Second-Generation Wealth Leads $28 Billion Merger - 36Kr" Skydance Media, led by David Ellison, son of Oracle founder Larry Ellison, announced a $28 billion (ÂĄ1960 billion) merger with Paramount Global. The deal involves Skydance acquiring National Amusements for $2.4 billion (ÂĄ175 billion) and merging with Paramount. Skydance will own 100% of Paramount's A-class shares and 69% of B-class shares. The merger aims to enhance Paramount's storytelling capabilities and cut $2 billion in annual costs. The deal is expected to complete by Q3 2025, pending regulatory approval.
