As a Materials Laboratory Technician, you will support materials research and development, and learn to manage an analytical lab ensuring the team can function safely and efficiently. You will operate equipment, run experiments, analyze data, and perform maintenance on materials test equipment. You will work directly with materials engineers and scientists, contributing to a collaborative and productive work environment that impacts all aspects of the company.

What will you own?

• Characterize plastic and metal materials with a variety of analytical equipment (Mechanical, Thermal, Electrical properties) under the guidance of materials scientists
• Record and analyze data, summarize findings, and present results to the Materials team
• Ensure lab equipment is properly calibrated and perform necessary maintenance
• 3D print in plastic, composites, and metal
• Use and maintain the chemical inventory system
• Supporting the purchase of equipment and chemicals to keep the lab stocked
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for laboratory experiments and tests
• Run equipment and safety trainings for lab members
• Comply with safety and protective equipment regulations
