Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Housekeeping or laundry experience is preferred.
  • Attention to detail and customer focus are required, along with the ability to perform repetitive duties in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds consistently throughout the shift is required.
  • Ability to perform significant bending is required.
Responsibilities
  • Process soiled hotel bed linens, terry, and food and beverage table linens by operating laundry machinery to company quality standards.
  • Sort, wash, dry, fold, iron, inspect, transport, and organize hotel linens.
  • Operate, clean, and maintain laundry equipment.
  • Safely use chemicals to meet sanitation standards.
  • Keep carts, linen rooms, work areas, and equipment clean, stocked, and in working order.
  • Assist guests and respond to requests positively and promptly while providing quality housekeeping service.
  • Work with other departments to meet guest and department needs.
  • Follow the Hampton Inn guest service recovery program.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with brand and local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Inspect work areas and equipment for maintenance needs and report maintenance service issues.
  • Follow procedures for guest and team-member incidents and hotel emergency procedures.
  • Plan, organize, and prioritize duties to produce the required volume of work.
  • Follow attendance, grooming, appearance, work-rule, and department-procedure standards.
  • Attend required department and hotel meetings.
  • Use equipment and supplies properly.
