Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree or relevant professional certifications, designations, or equivalent required.
  • 7+ years experience in any of the following areas: consumer insights, marketing research, brand communications measurement, sponsorship measurement.
  • Strong Technical Skills: In market research, with experience with brand and sponsorship measurement, and advertising research.
  • Familiarity with Corporate Reputation and ESG activities including experience with conducting research with diverse segments.
  • Brand Acumen: Deep understanding of brand concepts, including long-term brand building, brand communications, brand strategy development.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen and business consulting skill set. Business minded individual who understands how data and insights can be leveraged for business impact.
  • Proven ability to think and operate at a strategic level, however comfortable with details and guiding the execution of data analysis and market research.

Responsibilities
  • Lead foundational research to support TD's Corporate Reputation, ESG, CAPA, and Horizontal Marketing strategies using the most appropriate research methodologies (quantitative, qualitative, syndicated, desk research, etc.). This could include running research projects directly (e.g., programming quantitative surveys, building the reports, conducting respondent interviews etc.).
  • Lead research to support testing and development of advertising campaigns. This includes providing recommendations to improve and optimize to key stakeholders to maximize marketing ROI.
  • Responsible for overall project management including timelines, budgets, providing cross-functional stakeholder updates and getting alignment at key decision points.
  • Act as a professional insights consultant to internal Business and Marketing partners specifically in support of Brand and Customer Experience. Leveraging consumer research to provide meaningful and actionable insights to drive business objectives and support decision making.
  • Work closely with internal partners to understand annual objectives and plans, key business issues and proactively provide thought leadership, insight guidance and subject matter expertise.
  • Continually seek new ways to better leverage external research partners through experimentation and efficiencies.

Amp Ballantyne receives new naming rights sponsor. Published April 7, 2026 at 4:38 PM EDT The Amp Ballantyne announced today that TD Bank is its new naming rights sponsor. The 5,000-person-capacity outdoor entertainment venue on the 500-plus Ballantyne campus will now be known as TD Amp Ballantyne. TD also plans to serve as the presenting sponsor of the venue's $15 ticket program. Woody is a Charlotte native who came to WFAE from the world of NASCAR where he was host of NASCAR Today for MRN Radio as well as a pit reporter, turn announcer and host of the NASCAR Live pre race show for Cup Series races. The bank projects CA$55.4 billion in revenue and CA$15.8 billion in earnings by 2029, though this implies annual revenue declines of 5.7%. Analysts note that whilst AI-driven efficiency represents a key catalyst, TD faces elevated compliance, anti-money laundering and cybersecurity risks as it expands its digital operations. 55% now use AI to manage finances, but only 18% trust it to make decisions alone

A new report from TD Bank finds that 83% of employed respondents now use AI-powered tools at work, up 20 percentage points from last year. Adoption increased for both employer-provided tools (75%) and independently accessed tools (78%). The survey of over 2,500 consumers reveals that whilst 55% use AI to help manage finances, up from 10% last year, only 18% would trust AI to make financial recommendations entirely on its own. Most prefer AI to surface insights whilst humans retain final decision-making authority. Trust is building gradually, with 62% of respondents saying they trust AI to provide honest and reliable information, up from roughly half last year. TD Bank has approximately 2,500 employees working on AI development and has partnered with Columbia University for executive AI training.
