North Carolina Eye Care runs a network of full-service optometry clinics in North Carolina, providing medical eye care and a large optical retail selection. Patients receive comprehensive eye exams for adults and children, contact lens exams, and diabetic eye care, with diagnosis and management of eye conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and retinopathy, while the clinics earn revenue from fee-for-service medical care and the sale of eyewear and lenses; an online virtual try-on tool enhances frame shopping and they offer advanced lens options like high-index materials and blue light protection. The company stands out by belonging to EyeCare Partners, a national network that includes over 700 locations across 18 states, enabling integrated care across many offices and broad insurance acceptance. The goal is to provide accessible, comprehensive eye care and quality eyewear to families in North Carolina and support ongoing eye health and disease management.
