Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Procurement Agent to join our dynamic team in Ridley Park, PA; Hazelwood, MO; Mesa, AZ; or Tukwila, WA.

Position Responsibilities:

• Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies. Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions

• Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements

• Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management

• Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance

• Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 3+ years’ experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management

• 3+ years’ experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher

• 3+ years’ experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations)

• 3+ years’ experience negotiating non-competitive, government procurements that exceed the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) threshold

• 3+ years’ experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts

• 3+ years’ experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer

Work Location:

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Summary pay range: USD $74,800 – $98,700
