Requirements
  • Understand and practice the common principles of both UX and visual design
  • Have practical knowledge of current design patterns, trends, and methodologies
  • Have experience conducting customer interviews, and have fundamental information-gathering skills
  • Be able to present your work, collect feedback and make adjustments
  • Be on your way to becoming a Figma master
Responsibilities
  • Perform research to discover our customer's needs, and business goals
  • Work directly with design, product management, and engineering teams to collect product requirements and to present your creative ideas using mockups and interactive prototypes
  • Be a consumer and a contributor to our component library
  • Rapidly build and iterate on new product solutions, creating “best in class” customer experiences
Desired Qualifications
  • Can provide a smoking-hot portfolio that clearly demonstrates your passion for UX. (please include your portfolio link and password in your resume and application)
  • Can name at least three influential designers (interview hint)
  • Have experience facilitating design thinking exercises, creating personas, journey maps, mind maps, and other user research artifacts
  • Familiar with the mobile-first approach
  • Familiar with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JavaScript frameworks like React, Swift, etc
  • You have created interactive variant components in Figma
  • You are an auto-layout master, and most, if not all, of your designs are responsive
