Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience as a Network Engineer or similar role
  • At least 2 years of experience supporting network infrastructure in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Experience supporting production-critical systems such as Manufacturing Execution System, SAP, SCADA, Quality Management System, or Warehouse Management System is preferred
  • Familiarity with IT/OT network security and industrial networking best practices
  • Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
  • Fluency in English; Chinese (Mandarin) proficiency is strongly preferred
Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain factory and enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VLAN, and fiber optic networks
  • Support Cisco-based switching and routing environments across core, distribution, and access layers
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, availability, and security issues to ensure uninterrupted production operations
  • Implement IT/OT network segmentation to protect production systems and improve network stability
  • Configure, maintain, and support firewalls, VPNs (IPsec/SSL), and secure remote access
  • Support network connectivity for manufacturing systems such as Manufacturing Execution System, SAP, SCADA-related systems, Quality Management System, and Warehouse Management System
  • Monitor workshop networks, dashboards, and network-connected servers, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and exceptions
  • Support digital factory initiatives, including new workshops, production lines, and technical innovation projects
  • Coordinate with external partner IT, vendors, Internet Service Providers, and service providers for network design, troubleshooting, and upgrades
  • Maintain network documentation, diagrams, IP addressing plans, and standard operating procedures
  • Assist with network-related aspects of IT projects, including planning, deployment, testing, and post-implementation support
  • Implement and maintain network security controls, including firewalls, Access Control Lists, Virtual Private Networks, and secure remote access
  • Enforce IT/OT network segmentation and zoning to protect production systems from cyber threats
  • Support cybersecurity policies, standards, and compliance requirements at the manufacturing site
  • Monitor network security events, alerts, and logs; assist in investigation and remediation of security incidents
  • Support vulnerability remediation activities, including firewall rule reviews, network hardening, and access control updates
  • Manage user and device access from a network security perspective, including Network Admission Control or equivalent controls (if applicable)
  • Support secure onboarding of new production equipment, vendors, and industrial software
  • Monitor workshop networks, dashboards, and network-connected servers; ensure timely troubleshooting and resolution of exceptions
  • Support digital factory initiatives, new workshops, and production line expansions with secure network designs
  • Maintain accurate network documentation, security diagrams, IP plans, and SOPs
  • Participate in IT and network-related projects, including planning, deployment, testing, and post-implementation support
  • Coordinate with vendors, Internet Service Providers, and service providers for secure and cost-effective network solutions
  • Participate in on-call rotation to support 24/7 production operations
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams. Gather and understand business requirements, provide support for daily operations
  • Any ad-hoc requests by manufacturing lines or management team
