Responsibilities
  • Lead go-to-market technology assessments for private equity-backed portfolio companies preparing for sale.
  • Evaluate customer relationship management, marketing automation, data architecture, revenue operations maturity, reporting integrity, scalability, and risk exposure.
  • Shape the technology narrative for confidential information memoranda and buyer due diligence.
  • Present findings directly to private equity deal teams and portfolio company executives.
  • Translate technical complexity into investor-relevant value drivers and risk mitigation themes.
  • Refine assessment frameworks and delivery methodology.
  • Standardize deliverables and playbooks.
  • Improve margin profile through repeatable processes.
  • Identify adjacent service expansion opportunities.
  • Partner with the leadership team in private equity relationship development.
  • Support proposal development and scoping.
  • Begin owning select client relationships.
  • Revenue growth and forecasting for the go-to-market advisory practice.
  • Gross margin performance.
  • Team hiring and development.
  • Offering roadmap and pricing strategy.

Resultant acquires Chicago's Liberty Advisor Group, adding 30 employees and M&A expertise

Indianapolis-based data and technology consulting firm Resultant has acquired Chicago's Liberty Advisor Group, a merger and acquisition advisory firm serving private equity firms and Fortune 500 companies. The transaction closed on 13 February. Liberty, founded in 2008, has supported more than 300 M&A transactions, with 85% of its annual revenue from repeat clients. Financial terms were not disclosed. The acquisition brings 30 Liberty employees to Resultant, increasing its workforce from 320 to 350. Resultant, originally launched as KSM Consulting in 2008, rebranded in May 2021 and is majority-owned by Bahrain-based private equity firm Investcorp. This marks Resultant's fifth acquisition since 2019, following deals for firms in Dallas, Denver, Columbus and Indianapolis.
