Requirements
  • College degree in Finance, Business or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years Secondary Marketing experience or 5 years Mortgage Banking or finance-related experience.
  • Knowledge of mortgage banking, secondary marketing, mortgage market and investor requirements.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Reuters, TradeWeb and QRM.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Effective communicator.
  • Good analytic abilities.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and distribute rates for all Affiliates for all channels on a timely basis.
  • Obtain market pricing for all pricing models. Working with senior trader(s) correct questionable price feeds as necessary.
  • Document all model changes as per the secondary marketing risk policy.
  • Update rate sheets as necessary to reflect new products, pricing strategies and/or market segments.
  • Understands of all aspects of pricing and the rate sheet model ensuring products are priced in accordance with market prices and company policies.
  • Executes trade clearance, including preparing and communicating pool information to dealers and 5/3 Custody Department.
  • Confirms trades and communicates pair off and trade assignment information to dealers.
  • Independently responds to inquiries and solves problems for the trading desk, forwarding issues to the appropriate person when necessary.
  • Assists with monthly delivery, shipping, and settlements of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae.
  • Prepare daily risk reports including net position reports, fallout, and mark-to-market reports.
  • Coordinate all trade verification, input and reconciliation.
  • Obtain market pricing for the risk management models. Ensure pricing consistency between pricing and risk-management models.
  • In cooperation with other financial analyst(s), coordinate publication of all daily, weekly and monthly reports of mortgage activity including monthly sales and securitization summaries, daily competitive rate surveys, Summit Packets, and Secondary Marketing Committee reports.
  • Assist with annual internal or external audit and regulatory queries.
