Requirements

  • Ability to develop detailed plans and organize resources effectively.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with medical students, faculty, and staff.
  • Ability to provide medical student support, collaborate with faculty, and resolve conflicts.
  • Ability to convey information clearly and effectively in written and verbal forms.
  • Ability to prepare reports, conduct workshops, and communicate program updates.
  • Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to address medical student concerns, improve program processes, and manage budget constraints.
  • Ability to maintain program records, prepare detailed reports, and monitor compliance.
  • A criminal history background check is required for finalists.
  • Authorization to work in the United States must be verified through acceptable identity and work-authorization documents.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement academic program plans, curricula, and schedules.
  • Coordinate with faculty to align program objectives with educational goals.
  • Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives that enhance the educational experience and prepare students for residency training.
  • Provide academic administrative support to medical students and foster their professional growth and development into physicians.
  • Monitor medical student progress and address concerns or problems.
  • Manage program budgets and resources effectively.
  • Prepare reports on program activities, progress, and status.
  • Maintain program records and documentation.
  • Coordinate with faculty physicians to ensure smooth program delivery.
  • Liaise with psychiatry residents, psychiatry fellows, and faculty physicians for didactics and evaluations.
  • Plan and organize educational events, workshops, and seminars.
  • Coordinate logistics for program-related events.
  • Communicate regularly with medical students, faculty, and administrators.
  • Participate in strategic planning and program evaluation.
  • Manage special projects as assigned.
  • Provide backup support for other administrative roles as needed.
  • Adhere to internal controls and reporting structure.
  • Perform related duties as required.

  • Bilingual ability in Spanish.
