ERP Business Analyst, IQMS

As the ERP Business Analyst, IQMS, you will help support and grow Silgan’s current IQMS ERP landscape.  You will provide support for two domestic manufacturing facilities using IQMS as well as assisting in the implementation of IQMS at additional manufacturing facilities within Silgan.  While addressing application and data issues as they arise, you’ll serve as a liaison between the business and the development team, manage multiple projects, deadlines and deliverables while providing business analysis to develop new applications or maintain existing ones. You’ll provide testing, documentation, and configuration of the applications, as well as vendor and customer support. You'll have the opportunity to develop professionally and to grow your career in any direction you choose.  This position will be responsible for multiple Silgan facilities and some travel will be required as needed.

What you will do:

• Assist the IQMS end user community by listening carefully to the customer and asking questions to fully understand the nature of the request.
• Gathers requirements from end-users regarding application technology issues and queries.
• Responds to customer needs with a sense of urgency and provides high attention to detail.
• Troubleshoots issues within the IQMS environment.
• Participate in new IQMS implementations.
• Assists with EDI onboarding for both customers and vendors.
• Conducts training sessions for new systems or refresher courses on current systems.
• Communicates with IT leadership on a regular basis regarding project issues, concerns, and overall project statuses.
• Performs business analysis/resolution for projects and tasks.
• Conducts/attends meetings to present, review, recommend or approve business solutions.
• Executes testing scenarios for new or changed applications or programs.
• Prepares documentation for projects, not limited to process, functional and technical specifications, issue logs, project summaries, and procedures.
• Creates and maintains reports using Crystal Reports.
• SQL Server knowledge for querying data and writing reports.

What you need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field   
• 3+ years’ IQMS experience
• 3 + years of business analysis experience
• Functional knowledge of IQMS modules
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written.
• Willingness to cross-train and support all IQMS applications.
• Experience with Manufacturing, Accounting, Costing, and Job Costing preferred.
• Experience with SQL, Crystal Reports and/or Power BI a plus
