Requirements
  • Experience supporting space headquarters level defensive cyber operations centered on space mission systems and capabilities
  • Knowledge of the various Space Force weapons systems and capabilities
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Ability to obtain a Security+ Certification within 6 months of start date
  • 2+ years of experience as staff above the Delta or Wing level
  • Experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Experience briefing senior leadership
  • Knowledge of Space Force Delta 6 operations and procedures
  • Ability to multi-task and quickly produce staff products in a dynamic team environment
  • Bachelor's degree
Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning and developing the next generation of defensive cyber capabilities
  • Influence and contribute to DCO-S Strategic Governance
  • Oversee the initiation and management of specialized training content for Space and Cyber programs
  • Understand cyberspace capabilities to evaluate potential weaknesses as well as the effectiveness of mitigations for cyber security solutions
  • Leverage cyberspace operations systems to aggregate threat feeds that inform briefings for senior leadership aligned to Space Force's role in the Great Power Competition
  • Use research and analysis abilities to adequately assess and inform operators and senior leadership or commanders on dynamic adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures for various space and cyber missions
  • Develop operations plans to support command and control
