The Strategic Sourcing team at Pinterest is a highly skilled and highly leveraged team which has an opportunity to make a significant impact to Pinterest’s success. This role will be influential in helping to significantly reduce costs for the Marketing team as part of that larger opportunity.

What you’ll do:

Works in conjunction with manager to support strategic sourcing initiatives and negotiate deals for Marketing to optimize purchasing value
Develop RFP’s, drive bidding by obtaining quotes and negotiating where appropriate
Become a trusted advisor to stakeholders in Marketing where appropriate
Identify, evaluate and manage relationships with key suppliers
Create long-term pricing models with measurable service level/performance criteria
Develop sourcing insights, benchmark, and research market intelligence to stay current on industry trends

What we’re looking for:

4+ years of strategic sourcing or purchasing experience with an emphasis on professional services
Ability to work cross-functionally
Outstanding communication, strategy, and negotiating skills
Exceptional analytical abilities
Experience influencing sourcing strategies
Entrepreneurial, flexible, and collaborative
Engaging, team-player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
Knowledgeable in Oracle Purchasing, Contracts Management Systems, Supplier Management, or other related purchasing tools or efficiency tools
