  • Experience recruiting strategic hires in Sales, Marketing, and/or G&A, preferably in a global capacity, while building a diverse pipeline of candidates using creative sourcing channels
  • Demonstrable track record leading senior partners to successful hiring outcomes
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, SAAS environment recruiting top Go-To-Market and G&A talent
  • Exceptional command of the end-to-end recruiting process. This includes sourcing & screening talent, building candidate relationships, closing talent, and establishing trusting and aligned hiring manager partnerships
  • Experience leveraging recruitment data to provide insights, guide impactful decisions, and understand opportunities and areas that need improvement
  • Experience leveraging talent maps, insights, and other data to kickoff and guide all searches
  • Focused on delivering an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience with a strong sense of urgency
  • Adaptability and high learning agility with an openness to new tools and technologies
  • Strong contributor to a collaborative team environment, rooted in GitLab values

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for driving and continuously iterating how we hire across high-impact roles in the Go-To-Market and G&A functions
  • Partner closely with senior-level stakeholders providing thought leadership on all aspects of the search process
  • Develop strategic hiring plans by analyzing market trends and other metrics to create a data-driven narrative and partner with senior stakeholders to optimize processes and implement solutions
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and “go to” to the Recruiting team, sharing expertise, providing guidance on complex scenarios, and championing proven best practices.
  • Find the right opportunities across the global TA team to collaborate or lead impactful project work that will help us continue to raise the bar in recruiting excellence
  • Strategically source passive talent in order to generate balanced, representative pipelines that provide an adequate view of the total addressable market
  • Build quality relationships with candidates throughout the candidate journey, leveraging timely communication while representing GitLab culture and values
  • Partner cross-functionally with teams like Talent Brand and Engagement to leverage strategic initiatives and content to benefit a healthy recruitment process
  • Utilize data-driven decisions through key metrics and recruitment best practices to advise hiring managers and collaborate with the broader TA team
  • Lead the iteration of team-wide process improvement as well as recruitment best practices in close partnership with the Director of Talent Acquisition.
