Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and deliver orientation and ongoing training sessions for new and existing care providers.
  • Ensure orientation documents are complete and accurate according to company and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate and report training compliance for care providers.
  • Ensure new care provider skill competency in both in-home and skills lab settings.
  • Participate in training initiatives to achieve effective results.
  • Document all training and development activities and communication according to company guidelines.
  • Provide in-home provider skills training as requested.
  • Collaborate with the quality department to identify training and quality opportunities for newly hired caregivers.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with community organizations, healthcare providers, workforce development agencies, and referral sources.
  • Attend community and referral source meetings as assigned.
  • Identify training needs learned through caregiver and community interactions.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working with the developmentally disabled or senior population is a plus.
  • Experience in home care or healthcare training is a plus.
