Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • Six or more years of progressive engineering experience, including project management responsibilities.
  • Professional Engineer license preferred; candidates actively pursuing licensure will also be considered.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Experience with water and wastewater system design and project delivery.
  • Ability to manage project scope, schedule, budget, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience working with municipal clients, developers, and regulatory agencies.
  • Strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and deliver municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects from planning through construction.
  • Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, and permit documentation.
  • Lead the technical design of water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, pumping infrastructure, storage facilities, and treatment improvements.
  • Perform and oversee hydraulic modeling, system evaluations, design calculations, equipment sizing and selection, and engineering analysis.
  • Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports.
  • Conduct and oversee quality assurance and quality control reviews to ensure technical accuracy, constructability, and regulatory compliance.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support staff development across project teams.
  • Support business development efforts by preparing proposals, participating in consultant selection interviews, identifying new business opportunities, and expanding relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Work with Regional Development Councils to assist with securing funding for public infrastructure projects.
