Requirements
  • A diploma in Tourism, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in housekeeping operations or hospitality management.
  • Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
  • Ability to multitask and perform effectively in stressful, high-pressure situations.
  • A results-oriented approach with attention to detail and quality assurance.
  • Proficiency in housekeeping management systems and basic computer applications.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards and protocols.
  • Professional presentation and grooming standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and motivate others.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee and optimize housekeeping operations to ensure consistent cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout all areas of the facility.
  • Lead, supervise, and motivate the housekeeping team by providing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
  • Plan and organize work schedules, staff assignments, and vacation planning to maximize productivity and resource allocation.
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to guest requests and requirements to ensure customer satisfaction and service delivery.
  • Implement and enforce company policies, standard operating procedures, and health and safety protocols across departmental activities.
  • Conduct regular quality inspections and audits to maintain compliance with organizational standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage housekeeping budgets, control costs, and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and departmental productivity.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reports related to staff performance, inventory, and departmental operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address guest concerns and coordinate special requests or events.
  • Identify and recommend changes in methods, equipment, staffing, or procedures to improve departmental standards and overall performance.
  • Escalate critical matters affecting organizational interests to management with transparency and professionalism.
Desired Qualifications
  • Proficiency in additional languages, with a basic understanding of Tamil or Telugu considered advantageous.
  • Experience with budget management and cost control in housekeeping operations.
  • Certification in hospitality management or housekeeping excellence.
  • Experience with staff scheduling software and property management systems.
  • Knowledge of sustainable and eco-friendly housekeeping practices.
  • Previous experience in a hotel, resort, or corporate facility environment.
