  • 3-5 years of experience in HR Generalist or Business Partner roles.
  • Strong understanding of HR fundamentals, including employee relations, HR compliance, and performance management.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a coach and trusted advisor with managers to provide guidance and support with team dynamics, employee engagement and resolving workplace challenges in alignment with company goals and values.
  • Provide partnership to managers with performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and reviews.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across various teams to understand their needs and provide tailored HR solutions, while ensuring continuity across the Snorkeler employee experience.
  • Assist with core HR functions, and act as primary HR point of contact for employees throughout key moments such as onboarding, offboarding and throughout leaves of absence.
  • Conduct exit interviews with departing employees to gather actionable insights.
  • Partner with Snorkel’s People Data & Operations Manager to ensure timely and accurate employee data management.
  • Manage mail correspondence with agencies related to unemployment claims, leaves of absence and other miscellaneous queries in support of current and former employees.
  • Manage day-to-day HR inquiries, ensuring accurate and efficient responses.
  • Lead all-employee communications such as celebrations (holidays and anniversaries) and new hire welcomes.
  • Partner with the broader HR team to continuously enhance the employee lifecycle experience leveraging data and thematic insights from employees and managers.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to develop and deliver relevant training sessions and continuous learning and growth opportunities for employees and managers.
  • Assist with planning, communicating, and monitoring progress for key HR initiatives such as engagement surveys and performance reviews. Provide logistical and administrative support to ensure processes run smoothly and meet deadlines.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working in a high-growth tech company or start-up environment.
  • Exposure to a variety of functions and roles, including engineering, product and go-to-market.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Artificial intelligence (AI) companies have reached the far borders of the “data frontier.”. That’s according to a report Saturday (Aug. 31) by the Financial Times (FT), which noted that this issue is making things worse as AI firms face a wave of copyright lawsuits and allegations that they are aggressively scraping data from the internet. For example, AI startup Anthropic was recently sued by a trio of authors who accused the company of  “stealing hundreds of thousands of copyrighted books,” saying the company “never sought — let alone paid for — a license to copy and exploit the protected expression contained in the copyrighted works fed into its models.”
