Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree is required.

Responsibilities
  • Secure face-to-face and Teams visits with alumni, friends, and other potential donors focused on leadership annual giving, with special emphasis on securing President's Leadership Society donors.
  • Serve as project manager for University of Findlay Giving Days in coordination with the Director of Annual Giving and work closely with internal and external partners.
  • Manage high-profile donor-related events, including the Scholarship Luncheon, Day of Giving, Thank a Donor Day, and the President's Leadership Society.
  • Work with the Director of Annual Giving to plan and implement annual stewardship and cultivation plans and special campaigns aimed at increasing alumni participation and retention.
  • Establish and manage an integrated donor relations and stewardship plan covering acknowledgment, donor recognition, endowed funds, ongoing communications, and continued cultivation of past and current major donors.
  • Manage the day-to-day endowment stewardship process, including collaborating with gift officers on endowment proposals, gift agreements, and reports; setting up and maintaining records in Raiser's Edge; stewarding donors; and answering donor questions.
  • Manage and execute the student philanthropy campaign, Graduating Class Gift, through educational events, service opportunities, and fundraising activities.
  • Manage University of Findlay student development officers and university advancement ambassadors.
  • Serve as a college development liaison.
  • Work with the Office of Financial Aid, college deans, and other campus constituencies to ensure endowed funds are properly spent and stewarded through annual endowment reports.
  • Manage and execute annual giving campaigns while serving as a liaison for on- and off-campus partners and groups, including regional events, Homecoming, and Commencement Weekend.
  • Perform other duties deemed appropriate for the position.
Desired Qualifications
  • Three years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with Blackbaud's Raiser's Edge or other relevant customer relationship management software.
  • Experience in development and higher education or another nonprofit organization.
