Barback – Pool & Beach

Job Description

Role Overview:
As a Barback at Delano Dubai’s Pool & Beach area, you will be a vital part of the bar team, supporting smooth and efficient beverage service in a relaxed outdoor environment. Your quick response, attention to detail, and teamwork will help ensure that the bar operates seamlessly, contributing to an exceptional and enjoyable guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bar Support: Assist bartenders by restocking ice, glassware, garnishes, and beverages promptly to keep the bar running efficiently.

• Order Preparation: Help prepare and organize beverage ingredients and tools, ensuring everything is ready for service.

• Cleanliness & Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and order around the bar and service areas, promptly clearing used glasses and disposing of waste properly.

• Communication: Work closely with bartenders, waitstaff, and kitchen teams to ensure smooth coordination and timely service in the dynamic pool and beach setting.

• Team Collaboration: Support both front-of-house and back-of-house teams during daily operations and special events to maintain service excellence.

• Guest Assistance: Respond swiftly to requests and assist guests when needed to enhance their comfort and overall experience.

Qualifications

• Luxury Experience: You have a proven track record in a luxury hospitality environment - luxury hotel, high-end restaurant, or exclusive beach club, showcasing your ability to deliver sophisticated and discreet service that exceeds guest expectations.
• Exceptional Skills: Your communication and interpersonal skills are exemplary, allowing you to engage with guests in a refined manner that enhances their experience.
• Operational Knowledge: You’re proficient in luxury hotel operations and management software, with a solid understanding of sophisticated service protocols that ensure smooth operations.
• Educational Background: A relevant educational qualification, such as a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent experience, is preferred, aligning with our commitment to excellence.
