Responsibilities
  • Design and build planograms, incorporating merchandising strategy, visual merchandising standards and best practices, merchandising safety standards and analyze planograms to optimize sales, profitability and inventory productivity
  • Leverage systems to analyze and develop recommendations around key merchandising factors (e.g., space productivity, pricing, inventory turns, margin rates, promotional activity, product trending)
  • Attend weekly meetings with cross-functional teams to participate in business discussions and provide space planning expertise, contributing to strategic merchandising plans for the business
  • Work on behalf of merchant to identify, quantify, and communicate assortment opportunities; helps develop seasonal transition targets and strategies, if applicable
  • Works on various product tests within respective category, including inventory monitoring, in-store execution, visual merchandising, and analyzing results.
